What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. Short version: an email address, the video links you submit, and standard analytics, and never your password.

Email addressNeeded to send order receipts and delivery updates, and to enforce the one-per-person limit on the free tier.

The video URLs you submitThese are the campaign targets. They're public YouTube links, the same ones anyone can see.

Order and payment recordsWhat you ordered, when, and the amount. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store a full card number.

Basic usage analyticsPages visited, approximate region, device type. Used to understand what's working on the site, not to build a profile of you.

Never collected

What we never collect

Your YouTube or Google password. Your channel credentials. Access tokens or manager permissions on your channel. We do not need any of these to run an advertising campaign, we never request them, and no legitimate promotion service will.

The free tools on this site are entirely client-side unless stated otherwise on the tool itself. Calculator inputs, pasted comment lists and checklist progress stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us.

Purpose

Why we collect it

To deliver what you ordered, to contact you about it, to process payment, to prevent abuse of the free tier, and to meet accounting obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Sharing

Who we share it with

Only the service providers required to operate: our payment processor (to take payment), the advertising platforms we run campaigns on (which receive the video URL being promoted, not your personal details), our email provider (to send receipts), and our hosting and analytics providers. Each handles data under its own terms.

Retention

How long we keep it

Order records are retained as long as required for accounting and dispute resolution. Account and email data is kept while your account is active. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. If you ask us to delete your data, we'll delete everything not legally required to retain.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@youtubeview.app and we'll action it. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, including under GDPR or CCPA, and we'll honour those.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to gather aggregate analytics. You can block them in your browser; signing in will stop working, but the rest of the site, including all the free tools. Will continue to function.
