Banner Maker
The Banner Maker creates a correctly-sized YouTube channel banner and exports it as a PNG. It renders at YouTube's full 2560×1440 canvas while showing the 1546×423 safe area, the only region guaranteed to be visible on every device, from phone to television.
How it works
How to use the Banner Maker
Three steps, no account and nothing to install.
Why the safe area matters
YouTube crops your banner differently on every device. Television displays show the full 2560×1440. Desktop shows roughly 2560×423. Mobile shows only the central 1546×423. Anything important placed outside that central strip, a logo in a corner, text near an edge. Will simply be missing for most of your audience, since most viewers are on mobile.
What belongs on a banner
Your channel name, a one-line description of what the channel is about, and optionally an upload schedule. That is all that reliably fits inside the safe area at readable size. Resist adding social handles and detailed graphics, they become illegible at mobile scale, and YouTube already provides dedicated link fields on your channel page.
