Sponsorship Rate Calculator
The Sponsorship Rate Calculator estimates what to charge for a brand deal, based on average views, engagement rate and placement type. Sponsorships are usually the largest income stream for mid-size channels. Frequently several times ad revenue, and most creators undercharge because they have no reference point.
Estimated from views × placement rate, scaled by engagement. Real deals also factor in niche, exclusivity and usage rights.

How sponsorship pricing works
Rates are anchored to average views per video, not subscriber count. Subscribers are a vanity number that says little about how many people actually see a sponsored segment. The common industry range is $20-50 per thousand views for an integrated mention, scaling up for a dedicated video and down for a brief mention. Engagement rate adjusts this: an audience that acts on recommendations is worth a premium.
What else moves the price
Niche matters enormously. Finance, software and B2B audiences command multiples of what entertainment audiences do, because the advertiser's customer is worth more. Exclusivity (agreeing not to promote competitors), usage rights (the brand reusing your footage in their own ads), extra deliverables and rush timelines should all increase the fee. Never quote a per-video price without knowing what rights the brand expects.
Negotiating
Brands almost always have more budget than their first offer. Quote a range rather than a single number, ask what their budget is before naming your price, and be willing to walk away from deals that do not fit your audience, a badly matched sponsorship costs you audience trust that is far more expensive to rebuild than the fee is worth.

Frequently asked questions
A common benchmark is $20-50 per thousand average views for an integrated mention, adjusted for niche, engagement and placement. Dedicated videos command substantially more.
Views. Subscriber counts include inactive accounts and say little about how many people will actually see the sponsored segment.
Usage rights let the brand reuse your content in their own advertising. That has real value beyond your channel and should raise your fee significantly, never include it for free.
Yes. Channels with a few thousand highly engaged viewers in a specific niche often out-earn much larger general-audience channels, because the audience is precisely targeted.
