Upload Checklist
The Upload Checklist is an interactive pre-publish checklist covering the twelve things worth confirming before a video goes live. Title, thumbnail, description, tags, chapters, end screens, captions and scheduling. Progress is saved in your browser, so you can work through it across sessions.
Saved in this browser only, nothing is sent anywhere.
How it works
How to use the Upload Checklist
Three steps, no account and nothing to install.
Why a checklist beats memory
Most missed optimizations are not knowledge gaps. They are things creators know but forget in the rush to publish. Missing end screens, an unreviewed auto-caption, or a video never added to a playlist are all small individual losses that compound across a channel. A fixed checklist removes the reliance on remembering.
The items that matter most
If you only do three: get the thumbnail right (it determines click-through more than anything else), write a description whose first two lines front-load the topic, and add the video to a relevant playlist (playlists drive sustained sessions, which YouTube rewards). End screens and cards are the next tier. They convert existing viewers into more watch time.

The thumbnail. It has more influence on whether a video gets clicked than any other element you control at publish time.
Yes, where a relevant playlist exists. Playlists encourage sequential viewing, which raises session duration. Something YouTube's algorithm weighs heavily.
Auto-captions are generated automatically but are often inaccurate. Reviewing and correcting them improves accessibility and gives YouTube cleaner text to understand your video.
